Leadership
The Episcopal Diocese of Kansas is divided into four convocations; Northeast, Southeast, Northwest and Southwest. Epiphany is one of 12 parishes that make up the Southwest Convocation. The convocations are further divided into smaller Minsters to support each other and share resources.
Epiphany is a member of the Southcentral Kansas Minster.
Epiphany's leadership is fully vested in its Vestry, which is made up of six members: Currently these members are Jill Gray (Senior Warden);
Rebecca Stewart, Clerk, Jenny Loyd, Treasuer, Dee Farris, Bryon Newton and Sally Sturges.
The Episcopal Church – also known as the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society, is a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, which includes churches in more than 165 countries. The Episcopal Church is made up of 109 districts (we call them dioceses) in the United States and 16 other nations. We use the Book of Common Prayer as the order for our services. The objective of our common prayer, worship, and teaching is “… to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.”[1] Book of Common Prayer, p. 855.
